Assistance Requested for Missing Swimmer off Keawakapu from
boat, kayak, dive companies
Aloha,
As you all may know, Mr. Tony Castro, 75 who was visiting his family here in Maui went for his dally swim around 5:00pm, last Wednesday 3/14. His usual routine was to swim for 10-15 minutes on Keawakapu Beach at or near the Kilohana St. walkway area.
We have yet to find him even after an extensive ocean search. While we feel that if he is lost at sea, he is now deceased so if there is any shark feeding activity or any other sign of him please contact the Maui Police Department at either 911 or 244.6400.
We will be sending you reminder emails periodically and if he is located we will also contact you.
Thank you for help with this family tragedy.
